Burnham-on-Sea & the Coast

The Somerset coast is only a short hop from the fishery. Burnham-on-Sea is a classic seaside town with a long sandy beach, a breezy esplanade and its famous little lighthouse on legs – one of the most photographed spots on this stretch of coast.

It’s a lovely place for a stroll, an ice cream and a paddle, with amusements and cafes along the front. A little further along the coast you’ll find the bigger seaside resort of Weston-super-Mare, with its pier and sandy beach.
