Hestercombe is a rare treasure: a Georgian landscape garden, a Victorian terrace and a formal Edwardian garden designed by Gertrude Jekyll and Sir Edwin Lutyens, all on one glorious estate.

Gardens for every season

Wander woodland paths past lakes, cascades and temples, then take tea in the courtyard. There is colour and interest whatever the time of year, and plenty of space for children to run.

It is an easy 25-minute drive from The Sedges — one of the closest great days out to the fishery.
